Tim Tebow has been nothing short of unorthodox, but comes out victorious.
As Sports Illustrated wrote, "There it was, on display for a national TV audience on Thursday night. Every single reason people keep saying that Tim Tebow will never succeed consistently as a quarterback in the NFL, and every reason why Denver fans are jumping on this guy's back and riding him..."
Tebow has been unpredictable since he took the job as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos five games ago. The Broncos (5-5) are 4-1 since Tebow took Kyle Orton's spot as the starting quartback. The Broncos are now a .500 and a half game back from the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West.
"I like winning," Tebow said after his third comeback in a month, but I wish it wasn't this stressful," reported ESPN.
Tim Tebow's 20-yard charge into the end zone in last night's Denver Broncos victory over the New York Jets marked the longest-ever-game-winning run for a quarterback in the final minute of a fourth quarter, according to a tweet from ESPN Stats & Info.
Tebow was quoted in a post-game interview as stating, "We got in the huddle and just said, 'This is an opportunity when great things can happen and let's be great right now."
This victory also is congnizant of the second consecutive game that the Broncos have won where Tebow has failed to complete 10 passes. Tebow was none for 20 in pass attempts last nights for a not impressive 104 total yards. Running however, he went 68 yards in eight rushes.
Denver fans and Broncos fans can't explain and aren't really quite sure how Tebow keep pulling it out. But watching Tebow go to work sure is a sight to see, no matter how unorthodox his play may be thus far.
