This year's "Downtown Dining Weeks" will showcase 19 restaurants in downtown Syracuse and will offer customers the chance to make a donation for the Haiti earthquake relief.
Starting Feb. 15, the two-week promotion will include three courses for $25 or less at the participating restaurants. During the midwinter slump that the restaurant business faces this time of year, "Downtown Dining Weeks" is always a success.
"We see about 25 to 30 percent more business during the Dining Week period," David Katelski, owner of Empire Brewing Co., said. And with the opportunity for participants to donate to the American Red Cross, it adds a special component to the 6th annual two week event.
Some of the participating restaurants include: bc Restaurant, L'Adour, Opus, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, PJ's Pub & Grill and Pastabilities. The promotion is coordinated by the Downtown Committee of Syracuse and sponsored by AmeriCU Credit Union.
