What they're saying about Syracuse recruit Fab Melo in McDonald's All-American game

It was East vs. West on Wednesday as top high school recruits played against each other in the McDonald's All-American game at Ohio State's Value City Arena.

Syracuse top recruit Fabricio De Melo played 19 minutes for the victorious West team, scoring two points on a slam dunk, as well as adding seven rebounds, four assists, and three blocks, according to Syracuse.com.

The 7-foot tall 265-pound center has created some buzz around college basketball experts. John Stovall of ESPN says Melo is ready to be an impact college center, while Joel Steiner of NBADraft.net says he will be perfect for the middle of the Syracuse zone and could lead the Big East in blocked shots.
