The Orange are set to face the Butler Bulldogs in their sweet 16 matchup in Salt Lake City, according to ESPN.com. The game time is at 7:07 p.m. The Orange will be without Center Arinze Onuaku for the third straight game. Butler currently holds the nations longest winning streak at 22 consecutive games.
"Our expectations are very high," forward Wes Johnson said, "Being in the sweet 16 is a great accomplishment, but we're trying to win it all."
Johnson scored 31 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the Orange's second round victory over the Gonzaga Bulldogs. The winner of this game will play the winner of the Xavier/Kansas State matchup.
Senate Passes health care 'fixes' bill
The Senate has passed the amended health care bill and will send it to the House of Representatives for finalization. House speaker Nancy Pelozi said that democrats have the votes in the House to pass it, ultimately sending it to President Obama for final approval. See the full story here.
Cornell tries to take down one seed Kentucky tonight at the Carrier Dome
Cornell players are making the run of their life, appearing in the sweet 16 as a 12 seed. Cornell has upset both Temple and Wisconsin respectively. The Big Red now face the arguable favorite of the tournament in Kentucky, now that the Kansas Jayhawks have been eliminated. Game time is at 9:57 p.m. See a full preview here.
