TV reporter for Fox 5 station arrested for child sexual assault in New Jersey.

A reporter for New York City's Fox 5 station, a Syracuse University graduate, has been arrested in New Jersey on the charge of child sexual assault according to The Post-Standard.

The SU graduate, Charles Leaf, has been charged for aggravated sexual assault on a minor and endangering the welfare of children.

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli says the charges came up through accusations that Leaf sexually abused a girl in his home in Wyckoff, New Jersey. The girl was four years old.

Leaf was arrested at his home in Wyckoff on Thursday. He is being held for $250,000 bail.

The 41-year-old Leaf is married and father of two. He received his degree from the Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1997.
