SU basketball moves up in rankings

The Orange jump five spots in this week's AP Poll

It wasn't too long ago Jim Boeheim's club lost four in a row. But after a funk brought the team all the way down to No. 17 in the polls at the beginning of last week, Syracuse has come back.

After a big win over then No. 7 Connecticut on Wednesday and dominating South Florida on Saturday in a 72-49 win, Syracuse found its way. The team moved to No. 12 in this week's Associated Press Poll released earlier this afternoon.  

Up next for the Orange is Wednesday’s game against 11th-ranked Georgetown. Game time is set for 7 p.m. with SU looking to win its third game in a row.
