A student was robbed Tuesday night on the 700 block of Maryland Avenue, according to an email from Syracuse University's Department of Public Safety.
The student reported that two unknown males approached him at approximately 8:40 p.m. They pushed him to the ground, took undisclosed property and fled on foot on Redfiled Place, according to the email. The student suffered abrasions on his knee.
The suspects were described as such:

This is not the first robbery of the semester close to campus. Several laptops were stolen from the second and fourth floors of Slocum Hall in the beginning of September, according to another DPS email sent out on Sept. 8. According to The Daily Orange, Sharisa Bufford, a SU senior, and two other women were robbed in by two men in her alleged boyfriend's home on the 100 block of Remington Avenue. According to the crime brief, the suspects stole items amounting to $927.
The email describing Tuesday's incident disclosed that DPS is currently investigating robberies affecting non-students in the east neighborhood.
DPS is looking for any information identifying the suspects in Tuesday's robbery. Those with information should call the Syracuse Police Department at 442-5222, or DPS at 443-2224.
