A store in Albany sold the winning ticket for Friday’s $319 million Mega Millions jackpot. According to CNN, Coulson’s News Central sold the ticket who’s winning numbers were 22, 24, 31, 52 and 54 but as of Sunday night, nobody had come forward to claim the money.
The public employees federation council leader, Emanuel Biondi, for New York’s Housing and Community Renewal Agency said seven IT workers at the agency shared the winning ticket. This was not confirmed by a New York Lottery spokesperson.
The winner or winners selected the cash option when buying the ticket meaning they will receive a one-time payment of $202.9 million, making it the sixth-largest jackpot in history, as well as the Mega Millions’ single largest sole jackpot-winning ticket ever sold in New York.
The winners can collect their prize money on Monday at the office in Schenectady, New York.
