Protests in Wisconsin have continued for almost a whole week over Governor Scott Walker's proposed budget plan, according to CNN.
The protests that have occured in Madison, Wisconsin started because the state's unions feel the new budget plan won't allow them have any say in negotiating with their employers.
The protests have reached national news with tens of thousands of people ascending on the capital. On Monday, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine performed for protesters.
One of the main reasons people are protesting the budget plan for so long is because Governor Walker has no plans whatsoever to negotiate with anyone about the budget. This has caused many Democrat senators in Wisconsin to leave the state and go to Illinois.
As of Monday morning, it was reported the protests were peaceful and there were no major incidents.
