President Obama to "campaign" at University of Wisconsin

With his numbers down, President Obama looks to improve his standing with voters.

President Obama's approval rating has dropped to 27-percent according to Rasmussen Reports, so the president is trying to improve his numbers by returning to one of his most successful campaign venues – Univeristy of Wisconsin.

More than 17,000 people showed up to UW Madison in 2008 to support Obama's campaign for presidency, and the president is hoping to find the same support this time around. The Obama team has sent emails to its followers to promote the event and encourage attendence.

Obama's appearance at the university will mark the first time that a sitting president has held an event at UW Madison since Harry Truman.
