The New York Times reported that President Barack Obama will hold a press conference Wednesday afternoon to talk about the results of Tuesday's election.
The President is expected to ask for a renewed effort for bipartisanship, and an end to the division that occurred during the election campaigns.
The White House expects Democrats to lose the House, but hopes that they will maintain their majority in the Senate. The White House wants to use the news conference to help President Obama change the course of his presidency, and communicate that he heard what the voters were trying to tell him.
Here you'll find what's happening in the news that you should know about now. Check this blog Monday-Friday this semester for regular updates throughout the day.
