Governor Cuomo visited Syracuse this morning to present his budget message, reports The Post-Standard. Cuomo spoke at Schine Student Center this morning at 11 a.m. He was originally scheduled to visit earlier in the month but a foot of snow and a shut down of the university derailed his plans.
Cuomo stated earlier this month in Albany that he feels the state government is in jeopardy if legislators get in the way of his cost cuts. Cuomo sent out a video warning on Wednesday, catching legislators off guard who say the budget is ahead of schedule and may be passed early.
Legislators must find a way to address a $10 million deficit by April 1.
