A Rutgers University freshman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge after being taped in a "sexual encounter" according to northjersey.com

According to police, 18 year-old Tyler Clementi jumped from the southbound side of the GWB last Wednesday night. Police have yet to recover his body but Clementi is believed to have jumped from the bridge to his death that night.

Two fellow Rutger's students, Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei have been arrested and charged with placing a camera inside of Clementi's dorm room in the Davidson resident on the Rutgers-Busch campus. The two allegedly video taped Clementi having sex and posted it on the Internet. As of Monday Ravi had posted $25,000 bail and Wei was released on her own recognizance.
