SYRACUSE, NY -- A building in East Syracuse caught fire earlier today as smoke consumed a nearby intersection, according to The Post-Standard. No injuries have been reported yet, but the cross-street of West Manlius and James Street was closed to traffic.
Most of the smoked accumulated in the garage door of a Martino's Glass Co. building as firefighters entered by breaking down the door.
The fire occurred at 2:31 p.m. as smoke poured out of the building 40 minutes after it was reported.
