Man arrested for threatening to kill top Republican

Plus, nine teens charged with harassing girl who killed herself and Elin doesn't want to go to masters

According to the Justice Department police arrested Norman Leboon, a resident of Philadelphia, for threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor and his family. Cantor is the number two Republican in the House of Representatives.

While Cantor and his family were unharmed after the two-count complaint filed against Leboon, "The Department of Justice takes threats against government officials seriously, especially threats to kill or injure others," U.S. Attorney Michael Levy said.

Leboon released his threat in a YouTube Internet video sent to Google earlier this month, reports CNN.com.  Law enforcement officials later informed Cantor that the threat was credible.

Fox News reported last week that Cantor's Richmond office had been shot at as part of a rash of apparent threats and acts of intimidation.  He was one of 10 lawmakers who has asked for increased security protection.

Nine teens charged with harassing girl who killed herself

According to the Post-Standard, nine teens have been charged with the 'unrelenting' bullying of 15-year-old Phoebe Prince, a high schooler who moved to Massachusetts from Ireland and later killed herself. Two of the teens have also been charged with statutory rape.

Northwestern District Attorney Elizabeth Scheibel says the teens stalked Prince in person and online and harassed her for months before she committed suicide on Jan. 14 by hanging herself.

Scheibel said even though school officials knew about the bullying they will not face criminal charges.

Elin would rather go home than attend masters

As the date nears for Tiger's return to golf, his wife, Elin Norgreden, is more concerned about keeping out of the public eye.

While the Tiger camp would like to see Elin at the Masters in Augusta, Ga., April 8, it's more likely that she'll avoid the publicity.  According to a source, "Elin is preparing for a trip to see her family and friends in Sweden," reported People Magazine.

The source continued, "She was asked by Tiger to attend even for a half day to look like she's interested in supporting his return to golf."

The source believes she will most likely fly a commercial airline to Sweden instead of traveling in Tiger's private plane.
