Lady Gaga tries the country genre

Pop sensation Lady Gaga makes a country version of one her hit songs from her upcoming album.

Lady Gaga has made a “Country Road Version” of her recent hit “Born This Way," according to People. Gaga debuted the song Friday morning via Twitter.

Gaga teamed up with Fernando Garibay, who is the musical director and producer of Gaga’s next album “Born This Way”, to co-produce this remix. In this new version, Gaga makes a change in one of her lyrics, she sings: “If I wanna make it country, baby, it’s OK / ‘Cause I was born, I was born, I was born this way / From London, Paris, Japan, back to USA / Yeah, I was born on the road / I was born to be brave.”

She supposedly made this change to show her American patriotism.

It is not a strange thing in the music industry for a singer to do both pop and country, Taylor Swift, Shania Twain and Jessica Simpson are just some of the musicians who have done this transition. This is a first for Gaga, trying a different genre.

Gaga’s second album, “Born This Way”, is suppposed to hit stores in May.
