Happy Homecoming SU!

Alumni Weekend kicks off today, with a full schedule.

Alumni will descend upon the Syracuse University campus this weekend for annual Homecoming celebrations. Cocktail reunions, Dean's brunches for various colleges, and Donor Appreciation tailgaters will culminate in the SU vs. Pittsburgh homecoming game in the Carrier Dome at noon on Saturday. Reunion Weekend events begin Thursday evening, according to the schedule on the Syracuse University website.

As part of the festivities, notable SU alumni and two current SU students will receive Orange Circle Awards at a ceremony Friday night. The recipients will be accepting the awards on behalf of successful philanthropic organizations. These organizations include Students in Free Enterprise, a group of students in the Whitman School who created a thread supply store in Chumanzana, Guatemala to employ and empower women.
