Freshmen may face hate-crime charges in Rutgers University suicide

Two freshmen may face hate crime charges after filming a Rutgers student's sexual encounter with another man, who later committed suicide.

The prosecutor in charge of the Rutgers suicide may consider the case a hate crime.  Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei, both 18, the two freshmen who videotaped Tyler Clementi having sex with a man, are both charged with invasion of privacy, and may be charged with hate crimes, according to the Associated Press.
