Former NFL player receives probation

Lawrence Taylor receives probation for sexual misconduct.

Former NFL player and Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to six years probation after pleading guilty to sexual misconduct with an underage girl, according to CNN.

Along with the six years probation, Taylor will have to pay $2,000 in fines. He pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges in January. A trial on April 12 will decide what level sex offender Taylor identifies as.

Taylor was arrested in May after engaged is sexual misconduct with an underage girl in the Rockland County Hotel. He gave the girl $300 after they engaged in sexual activity. The girl, who was sixteen-years-old at the time, denies being a prostitute
