Fayetteville-Manlius' girl's cross country team was awarded by ESPN RISE for its season this year, according to the The Post-Standard. The team of eight was honored at an ESPN awards ceremony Friday after being ranked nationally.
The team finished its 2010-11 season ranked No. 1 on the Powerade FAB 50 ESPN RISE rankings as well as being ranked the No.1 girls' cross-country program.
The ceremony honored the players, coaches and school in the F-M auditorium today. This is the school's fifth consecutive Nike Cross Nationals.
