The Patriots came in to Sunday's game ranked as the best team in the NFL by many media outlets, while the Browns were ranked near the bottom on nearly every list, according to CBS Sports. Thus, when the final whistle blew Sunday afternoon and the Browns had put up 34 to the Patriots 14 the NFL world was shocked.
It seemed unimaginable that rookie quarterback Colt McCoy could lead one of the NFL's worst teams over elite quarterback Tom Brady and his Patriots. However, McCoy was flawless on the day; throwing for 174 yards and now interceptions. Brown's running back Peyton Hillis carried the load to a career best 184 yards and two touchdowns.
The stunning upset has given all of the Browns hopes, including wide receiver Josh Cribbs.
"We know we can beat anybody," said Cribbs.
