Donald Miller won the committee's approval on his bid for the 121st assembly position.

Miller is up against Manlius Town Councilor Sandra A. Schepp.

Miller has never ran before for office helped former President Ronald Reagan during his campaign.

China might ban eating cats and dogs

The Chinese government might ban the eating of cats and dogs.

This is part of a proposal to improve animal welfare.

Cats and dogs are a delicacy in China and the surrounding countries.

Those caught eating a cat or dog faces 15 days in prison and a small fine.

Letterman celebrates his legal win

David Letterman won his extortion case.

CBS news producer Robert Halderman pleaded guilty to trying to extort two million dollars..

Halderman threatened to expose Letterman's affair with Stephanie Birkitt.

Halderman pleaded to six months in prison, four and a half years on probation and 1,000 hours of community service.
