Billy Ray Cyrus; 'Hannah Montana destroyed my family'

In an interview with GQ magazine, father of international star blames Disney Channel for family struggles.

It’s been a rough year for the Cyrus family and father Billy Ray is pointing the finger at the Disney Channel. 

In an interview with GQ magazine, Miley Cyrus's father said the pressure from Disney and the people who work for the company is the reason why his family fell apart, according to People.

"That damn show destroyed my family," he said about the Hannah Montana show.

In response to recent events surrounding his daughter's behavior, Billy Ray said he is scared because she’s unprotected.

"She's got a lot of people around her that are putting her in a great deal of danger," he said in response to a video posted online showing Miley smoking salvia from a bong.

He also wanted to set the record straight about rumors he made money from his daughter's career:

"I've never made a dime off of Miley. You got a lot of people who have made percentages off her. I'm proud to say to this day I've never made one commissioned dollar, or dime, off my daughter."

Billy Ray is in the process of filling for divorce from Miley's mother, Tish Cyrus.
