Syracuse Police have arrested a man in the fatal shooting of 20-month-old Rashad Walker Jr. They say the incident was gang-related
In a news conference on Tuesday, the Syracuse Police Department announced the arrest of Sequan Evans, 21, for the shooting death of a 20-month-old baby, according to News Channel 9.
Rashad Walker Jr. was strapped to his seat in a car with his father in the city’s South Side, when the suspect allegedly shot the baby in the head in the South Side on Sunday.
Walker Jr. was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
