Kentucky super-fan and movie star Ashley Judd will be at the Carrier Dome tonight when Kentucky and Cornell face off in the Sweet 16. The "Double Jeopardy" star went to New Orleans to watch the Wildcats crush Wake Forest. Judd says she was embarrassed during former coach Billy Gillispie's tenure because of how bad the team was. Even though she had high expectations when new coach John Calipari came in, she says the team's success this year was a pleasant surprise.
"I dreamed of it being this high this fast because I have visions of grandeur as a Kentucky fan," Judd said. "But I probably, if backed into a corner, would have said, 'No, for real we can't.' But now that we are, it's impressive. It's pretty incredible."

The Anaheim Ducks will be the new NHL parent team for the Crunch, according to Syracuse.com. Howard Dolgon, the Crunch owner, announced the deal today at the War Memorial
"Anaheim is clearly one of the elite profile organizations. Everything I hear about them, these are the people we are looking for, " Dolgon said. "These are the guys who know how to get it done."
Anaheim didn't have an AHL team this year. They gave their minor league players to a few AHL teams and and ECHL team in Bakersfield. The Ducks used to be affiliated with the Iowa Chops, but because of money problems, they are no longer in the AHL.
The Duck's senior VP of hockey operations, David Mcnab says he's very excited to be affiliated with the Crunch. He also said that Syracuse's coaching staff may take a few months to put together.
A lot of business owners in Indianapolis want Syracuse in next weekends Final Four, the Syracuse Post-Standard reports. Terry Moberly, the manager of the Downtown Hooters says one of the reasons is because they have huge fan bases.

"George Mason didn't do anything for anyone." Chris Burton, a partner at Kilroy's Bar and Grill.
Even though two local teams are in this weekend's sweet 16, many don't want to some them playing back in Indy next weekend.
"They would be a disaster business-wise" Tom Sutton, the owner of Coach's Tavern in Indianapolis said of Butler and Purdue.
Moberly feels a little bit more torn, "It does make it a tug when you realize that your business could be better if you had a Syracuse or a Kentucky.
